What is Assetto Corsa Competizione?
Assetto Corsa Competizione (Italian for "race setup", "competition") is a sim racing video game developed by Italian video game developer Kunos Simulazioni. The game focuses on GT3, GT4, GT2 and one make series cars and is an officially licensed simulation of the GT World Challenge Europe and the Total 24 Hours of Spa covering seasons from 2018 to 2023, and is set to serve as a platform for esports. Assetto Corsa Competizione Deserved Better
- Not since GTR2 launched in 2006 has a sim arrived with such a singular focus, and a limited scope, allowing for an exceptional level of implementation competence, attention to detail, and completeness
- By the end of its run, ACC had dominated its niche and its innovations forced other sims, such as iRacing and rFactor 2, to improve to compete, and ACC's influence almost certainly lead to the design goals of Le Mans Ultimate
- Held back by Unreal Engine 4, however, performance and image quality suffered, preventing many, with average hardware, from being able to enjoy ACC to its full
- However, as time has passed and sim racers have upgraded their hardware, now is the time to take another look at ACC and see it at its best
- ACC comes on very cheap during Steam sales these days
- It's still a great sim and worth a try
- ACC deserved better

Optimized for 12700KF + 3080 by Shovas:
- Everything on Epic or the highest it can go

- Alleviates an issue where shadows update from soft shadows to sharp shadows too near the player. It's not a complete fix but it seems to help.
- Antialiasing Type: KTAA
- DLSS: Disabled
- FSR: Disabled
- Mirror Framerate Limit: Off
- Temporal Upsampling: Off
- Advanced Sharpen Filter: Disabled
- Motion Blur: Disabled
NVIDIA Profile Inspector
Scratch: I don't think these settings are having an effect.
Things we're trying to improve:
- White track lines with aliasing
- Metal barriers with shimmering
- Transparent mesh fences with artifacting or "wavy" visuals
Configuration:
- Using NVIDIA Profile Inspector
- Antialiasing - Mode: Enhance
- Antialiasing - Setting: 8xS [Combined: 1x2 SS + 4x MS] (Eg. White track lines)
- Antialiasing - Transparency Multisampling: Eanabled (Eg. Mesh Fences)
- Antialiasing - Transparency Supersample: 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling (Eg. Mesh Fences)
